Hi everyone my name's Katlynn, I have created this gofundme as a means to reach out to our animal loving community with an urgent and heartfelt plea for financial help on behalf of the Rogerson family.

Sweet 15-month-old puppy Fletcher, has been through a devastating and unexpected series of emergency surgeries after eating a toy that has now left the Rogerson family with mounting vet bills that are far beyond what they can manage alone.

Fletcher fell ill last week and was rushed to the emergency vet. It was determined he had a severe blockage requiring immediate, life-saving surgery. We were relieved the initial procedure was successful, but unfortunately things didn't end there and two more surgeries since the first have been required to save Fletcher's life. He still isn't out of the woods yet and remains at the Emergency Vet.

Surgery 1: Emergency Blockage Removal.

Surgery 2: Complication. 1 week after the initial surgery Fletcher became very lethargic and was rushed back to the emergency vet. Two separate sections of his intestines had died and needed to be removed.

Surgery 3: Further Complications. After the 2nd surg Fletcher unfortunately declined which resulted in an additional surgery. It was determined even more of the intestine had died off and at this time it is very likely Fletcher will have short gut syndrome which will require additional care.

Fletcher has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout this ordeal. He is a fighter, and his spirit remains bright, but the toll on the Rogerson family financially has been immense.

The Financial Burden

The cost of these three emergency surgeries, hospitalization, medications, and round-the-clock critical care have already exceeded $12,000 and the family has been told to expect a final bill closer to 20,000. Their savings have been exhausted and Fletcher's family would greatly appreciate any financial assistance you are able to provide.

The road to full recovery will be very long. Fletcher's Fur Parents Abby and Cameron along with Abby's mother Sarah are very committed to giving him the best chance possible, but desperately need help to manage these costs.
