Emergency Vet Bills for Kobe
Hi everyone, I’m trying my best to raise funds for my friends fur baby, Kobe. He’s a very loved member of the family and a tragic event has really devastated his family and friends. Please consider donating to go towards Kobe’s emergency surgery and accumulating veterinary expenses. Any amount is a step towards saving his life.
On Wednesday, 9th November (also Kobe’s 9th birthday), little Kobe snuck under the next door neighbours fence and was viciously attacked by the neighbours dog. The attack was so severe, it has left Kobe paralysed in all four legs. He has been in emergency care for the past few days and his only fighting chance at life is to have life changing surgery to reverse the damage. There is a high possibility (70-80% chance) that the surgery will be successful and Kobe will be able to live a normal life using all 4 of his legs.
However, the costs for this very detailed surgery is HUGE! between 11-$12,000 - I will provide the veterinary invoice once confirmed. This expense is for X-rays, MRI and two surgeons required for the surgery. Each night Kobe spends in hospital is $400.
The only other alternative is to have him put to sleep.
