<div>I was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma last year. Angiosarcoma is a an extremely rare and extremely aggressive type of cancer. It is known as cancer of the blood and lymph vessels. I have been battling this for over a year. I had a lumpectomy, a double mastectomy, and various types of therapies with one being 6 weeks of radiation (Monday-Friday)

<div>I went to discuss the next step in my treatment and review the latest images with my oncologist on Wednesday September 17th, 2025.




</div>




<div>He ordered labs STAT and then called my radiation oncologist to meet with me that day and also called my surgeon.




</div>




<div>The next day I was in my surgeon’s office getting a biopsy done.




</div>




<div>My surgeon said that she could not do the type of surgery I needed due to the seriousness and because of how “major” it is.




</div>




<div>They will be sending me to MD Anderson ASAP to get a Flap surgery.

</div>




<div>They will be cutting out the damaged part of my chest where there is angiosarcoma cells and replacing it with healthy tissue, blood vessels, and skin from another part of my body.




</div>




<div>I will be staying there for at least a week, if all goes well.




</div>




<div>I have to get 3 plane tickets, a hotel, pay for car services, daily needs for the girls, and will be unable to work for at least 2-3 weeks.




</div>




<div>I’m hopeful that my insurance will cover the surgery costs and hospital stay but since it is out of state I do not know. 




</div>




<div>If not I will have to pay for that myself out of pocket as well. I’m praying my insurance will cover most, if not all of it though.

<div>Please please pray that I am able to get the surgery ASAP to help control the spread of this highly aggressive cancer. Please pray that they get it all and my survival rate goes up dramatically.

<div>I am terrified, tbh. Not for me but for my babies.

<div>My babies have been through enough!! They want and need their Momma more than anyone or anything.

<div>I pray this is all a horrible memory for us 3 in 5-10 years.

<div>The faster we can get the surgery, the less time it has to grow and spread. The tumor in my breast grew to over 1 cm in less than 2 weeks. It is one of the fastest growing types of cancers.

<div>Acting fast increases my survival rate.

<div> I am now stage 4. 
</div>

<div>The cancer has spread to most areas of soft tissue in my body and multiple places where there are blood vessels. I have tumors in my cheek/face, along my spine, my liver, my lungs, my abdomen, chest wall, knees, bones, etc…
</div>

<div>I have now started chemo. In roughly 2-3 weeks I will either do a CT or PET scan to see how my body is responding to it. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am on a very harsh chemotherapy. (We have to be more aggressive than the cancer) The pain is extreme to put it lightly. 
</div>
<div>I’m tough but it feels like my bones are burning and breaking. I am extremely tired and I hurt. It also feels like having the flu. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Life doesn’t stop just because you get cancer. I am beyond grateful to be alive even if that means living with the pain. Every single day with my babies is a blessing! 
</div>

</div>
<div>Doing chemotherapy first gives me more options and more time to raise money for all expenses as well. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am now a registered patient at MDA. My oncologist is working with the doctors at MDA for my entire treatment. 
</div>

<div>I will also not be able to work for a few months due to chemotherapy and the upcoming surgery. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My job has been very understanding and will keep my position for me if I’m able to return again. (Depending on future surgeries and if I have to have more amputations) 
</div>

</div>
<div>So, ALL donations help more than you could possibly imagine.

<div>My faith is strong and I refuse to quit. I am extremely stubborn. (As most of you know)

<div>There is only one option and that is to beat this. That’s the plan. That is exactly what I plan on doing.

</div>
<div>As most of you also know, I’ve always been the one who helps everyone else. I have always taken care of my family, my friends, my neighbors, any and all animals, even those I don’t or didn’t know. “Acts of service” is my strongest love language.

<div>I never asked for help because I was in the position to give and to help, but I now know that I can not do this alone anymore. 
</div>

<div>I know I need help. There is no ego or pride. Just pure authenticity and transparency. 
</div>
