Emergency Surgery Fund for Spectre

It is with regret that we start this go fund me for our very special guy Spectre. He recently had to have emergency surgery for a large mystery gash we found behind his right shoulder. We luckily had savings but they were drained for this procedure.

After a challenging time for him to heal, and negligence from the vet we took him too, his wound has reopened. They also tied a cone on him too tight causing an abrasion around his neck. It is heart wrenching to see how the care we thought we were investing in has gotten us back here. 

We are asking for help to cover a second surgery he will need to undergo in order to properlyheal this time. The first surgery was $1000 CAD. We are expecting around the same cost for this secondary surgery. If you are able to help at all, even donate the cost of your daily coffeewe are truly grateful.

We are frightened at the idea of not being able to cover the surgery. Due to the struggles of COVID 19 and loss of work on both sides of our families we need to seek help for this. 

Our hearts are broken seeing our treasured boy struggle through this difficult healing process and we want him to be comfortable and get the care he truly needs and deserves. He’s getting older, now 13, and we need to ensure he can live the rest of his life comfortably and without infection and mobility issues.
