Emergency Surgery For Luna

Luna is our 3 year old husky. We first adopted her while I was in the military in Fort Campbell, Ky. She’s an emotional support animal for me, as I have anxiety/depression disorder. And she has been the biggest thing helping me so far.

As of December 8th Luna had to be taken in to the ICU of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University hospital because she was crying in pain.
Luna was diagnosed with a lymphoma on her spleen and will be going through surgery this afternoon (12/09/2020). Doctor's will be also taking a biopsy of her liver as it seems to be affected as well but the vets are still unsure. After surgery Luna will also have to go through chemotherapy.

We will be sharing on social media, mainly on her tiktok account @thelunabaluna, any updates as well as the invoices stating in details all the costs of the surgery and treatment.

Luna é nosso husky de 3 anos. Nós a adotamos enquanto eu estava no exército em Fort Campbell, Ky. Ela é um animal de apoio emocional para mim, pois tenho transtorno de ansiedade / depressão. E ela tem sido a maior coisa que me ajudou até agora.

No dia 8 de dezembro, Luna teve que ser levada para a UTI da Escola de Medicina Veterinária Cummings no hospital da Universidade Tufts porque estava chorando de dor.
Luna foi diagnosticada com linfoma em seu baço e fará uma cirurgia nesta tarde (09/12/2020). O médico também fará uma biópsia de seu fígado, pois parece estar afetado, mas os veterinários ainda não têm certeza. Após a cirurgia, Luna também terá que passar por quimioterapia.
