Emergency surgery for Ice

Ice is undergoing emergency surgery today. She ate a pair of socks that have lodged into her intestines causingh blockage and abdomen pain. After continuous throwing up she has stopped taking water all together and won't eat at all. After a trip to the ER I just flat out can't afford surgery. Independence Equine & Small Animal Clinic is helping out a great deal! With me being the only coach for the Boys & Girls Club Cooke County Track Club that can go to the state meet this week I'll have to board her there until I get back Sunday. They will take great care of her. They have a special fund to help in these cases to lower cost, and anything over my balance owed I will be donating remainder amount to their fund to help those in need of emergency care for their pets. Please pray for my baby! She is miserable!!!!

Update:
The damage was pretty bad to her intestines and they had to remove a lot. She is not in the clear yet! Price went up drastically!!! The total is $1887.60 but apparently people have donated directly to vet. I really need your help! I need prayer warriors!!!!

Second surgery went well! There some positives and some negatives but praying for best. The good news is the fluids found are probably from inflammation and irritation, not from leakage. The intestines have good blood flow but still are not contracting. All other organs are ok. We just need her intestines to start contracting!!! She is stable and drugged up at moment. She is in good hands at Independence. Keep praying!!
