Emergency Surgery for Cally
Last night at 0200 we had to rush our girl Cally to the emergency vet clinic. We had been watching her all night and she seemed to be just feeling a bit off but when I took her out she didn't want to come back up. I knew it wasn't good.
I had given Cally the remaining left over chicken that was in the pan and she had eaten it fast. She seemed like she had some stuck in her throat or something so when she was attempting to puke about 2 hours later I tried to help her induce vomiting. It didn't seem to help much.
Every hour up until 0200 when I took her out to see if she needed to go potty she would pace and whine. That's when I knew ... it was bloat.
We rushed her to the emergency clinic where they confirmed my theory and then did surgery. They informed us we saved her life because she would not have made it.
Obviously we would pay as much needed to save our girl... but we have bills that have been creeping up on us.
May be a long shot but any bit would help us and be appreciated.
Thank you for your hand in helping save our girl
