Hello,

My name is Ben and this pup here is Buckley. Buckley started getting sick last Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. I took him to the vet on Tuesday after finding blood in his stool (thankfully a few friends were able to help me cover costs for the bloodwork). Came home with a few medications but there wasn't much improvement. So I took him back again on Wednesday for Xrays, that showed a mass in his stomach, to which the vet told me could just be some food that hasn't quite moved yet. So I placed him on a fast and brought him in for followup xrays the next day, Sept. 11. The mass was still there, so at this point, I had him refer it to a radiologist for a second opinion.

Radiologist then confirmed that emergency surgery will need to be done to remove the mass and obstruction. I have exhausted all my money just through the testing phase trying to figure out what's wrong. I had applied for a petcard but was unfortunately denied due to bad credit and I dont qualify for Alberta Charity for pets either.

At this point, I dont know where else to turn. My boy is only 2 and I just can't imagine my life without him. Anything helps, big or small.
