Emergency Support for Nightlife Artists

Help us support Portland nightlife performers who are, financially, hit the hardest by the pandemic.

Nightlife artists have no safety nets, especially those who do not have other sources of income other than tips from gigs. This fundraiser is for them. We will be fundraising over the next month and then gifting the money out to those based on the number of gigs they've had cancelled. If you are someone who is able to make a living from home/your income is not effected by the virus outbreak in a drastic way, you are highly encouraged to donate as much as you can to those who are left high and dry.

This fundraiser is for LGBTQIA nightlife artists, drag queens, dancers, strippers, musicians, ect. in Portland exclusively, but we urge all communities all over the world to come together and fill the void that capitalism has created and our government recklessly ignores.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE THESE FUNDS and are a LGBTQIA performer financially  effected by a large number of cancelled gigs please contact our team at pdxperformersfund@gmail.com with your name/stage name, contact info and the names of the gigs you've lost so far. We will remain in contact through the duration of the fundraiser to keep everyone updated.

CAN'T DONATE? No problem, here's other ways to get involved...

- Share the fundraiser with as many folks as you can on all social media platforms.

- Ask for donations directly from those you know who's income is still secure.

- Send this GoFundMe page to various media outlets.

- Follow our page for updates and other ways to support.

- Volunteer in any way you can with local mutual aid efforts and the services therein.

Mutual Aid Groups:
PDX Carona Virus Resource

Queer Exchange PDX

Portland Rooster

PDX COVID-19 Mutual Aid Network

PDX COVID-19 Mutual Aid Network Fundraiser

PDX Pop Mob

Financial Relief for Sex Workers

- Call and voice your demand for rent freeze to ensure everyone keeps a home and immediate fiscal stimulus for all Oregonians to ensure the money is now for the needs of now! Petitions are also good, but the majority of them are just to collect emails and are ineffective compared to directly contacting your representatives at all levels of government.

With all that said, I hope you and your chosen family are all safe, healthy and adapting well. Please reach out with any questions, ideas or suggestions.
