Emergency Student Aid for LU Students

A group of students is working on raising funds for students affected at Laurentian University in both Undergraduate and Graduate programs to assist them during this difficult and unprecedented time.
Laurentian University has cut over 60 academic programs where about 10% of undergraduate students (approximately 900 students) and 44 graduate students will be significantly affected by the cuts (read articles linked below for details).
We are looking to raise up to $10,000 in order to distribute the funds to as many students as possible eligible for the Emergency Student Aid. Each student would be eligible to receive $100.
The goal of this Emergency Student Aid fund is to provide those students affected with additional funds to assist them with needs such as relocation, transfers to other universities, mental health support, and more.
Students at Laurentian University need our community to stand by their side through a difficult time like this, where the future seems so uncertain. Your support would be immensely appreciated.
