Emergency Rent & Bill Fund

Hello, my name is Katt (they/them). I'm 27, Black, Nonbinary, a student, and frankly, just trying to make it through all of this. Thanks to COVID-19, like many, I'm unemployed and trying to stay afloat. I lost my job as a substitute teacher and haven't been able to get hired since the schools here are only keeping the full teachers on. I am simply trying to raise money to pay for my bills so that I can continue living here since I had to move once my old roommate got a new job in another state. Moving was the only option next to homelessness. I did get qualified for unemployment but unfortunately, they're only giving me about 250/wk which only goes quickly due to everyday expenses as well as saving a huge chunk of it for rent. I no longer receive food stamps, since I'm a student which means I'm also stretching the money out to feed myself. This ends up putting me at risk health-wise since I can't keep buying produce because it goes bad quickly. As if things haven't already been hard, I've had the worst luck this year with my immune system and my body which means that I have been sick more often. I'm thankful that I haven't contracted COVID-19 but I have been living with endometriosis and have developed stomach issues as a result. At the moment, I am applying for jobs and waiting to hear back but until then, I need all the help I can get. It's just myself and my cat Zaara who also has expenses such as vet visits and I am supposed to be getting her fixed but haven't been able to do so due to the lack of having a job.  With all this being said, I've also been trying to raise money by conducting tarot readings and doing small jobs on the side. Unfortunately, it hasn't been enough. Each reading can cover about a day's worth of travel whether it be to and from a doctor's visit, the grocery store, or an interview. It's been hard but anything anyone can do, I'd be grateful. I'm hoping to get the funds raised by the end of the year so that I can keep myself afloat. It has been an exceedingly hard year trying to balance school, being unemployed, and my immune system and body essentially reacting to stress and the environmental changes. I really appreciate anyone who reads this and donates. I'm not really sure what else to do at this point. Whatever you can do, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.
