Emergency relief fund for a trans DACA recipient

Over the last year COVID has hit people already vulnerable the hardest. People who were already struggling to make ends meet and were already on the verge of losing everything are facing economic decisions that no one should have to deal with.
If you know Joyce then you’re already aware of what a badass and amazing member of the community they are <3 Joyce is an undocumented queer&trans person of color, comes from no generational wealth, and has been using half of their resources to help their family scrape by during this intensely stressful time. While working at an emergency homeless shelter during the pandemic they have been sending up to $1000 a month to their family who have become financially devastated --
When the partner of Joyce’s mom contracted COVID last week, and was unable to work, the economic vulnerability dropped to a deeper level of struggle for Joyce's mom, partner and three younger sisters. Their family has dealt with bouts of unemployment and yet have been ineligible to receive unemployment insurance as well as healthcare assistance. They’ve watched their bills pile up as they are locked out of all federal stimulus help with no safety net to fall back on.
Joyce has also been unable to receive healthcare assistance as a DACA recipient. They have had to put off receiving physical care, mental health care and getting gender affirming surgeries due to these hardships -- which is why we have decided to reach out to the greater community for support through crowdsource funding. <3
Barely being able to make ends meet or have the medical care they need has been a massive source of stress in their lives and it's become untenable during the pandemic.
Without crowdfunding support Joyce and their family will not be able to get the medical care and basic resources they need.
The third round of stimulus checks are on their way. It would be greatly appreciated if you could allocate any of those funds to this cause. <3 <3 <3
End Goal
This post is meant to raise money for essential resources and healthcare:
Half will help Joyce cover gender affirming surgery and other healthcare costs:
** Out of pocket healthcare coverage (mental and physical)
** Top surgery fees include anesthesiology, prescriptions, facility fees, and pathology fees.
Half the donations will go towards helping the family maintain their stability:
** Rent, groceries, toiletries, school supplies, clinic costs, supporting family in Mexico
$8500 for top surgery/mental healthcare
$9000 for family
