About a year ago, I got really sick out of nowhere. I was vomiting profusely for 3 days. I didn't want to go to the doctor because I knew we didn't have insurance and I didn't want any additional debt. I finally called my mom because I truly thought I was going to pass out and choke on my vomit. After hours of trying to convince me, my mom and my oldest son decided I had no choice and took me to the emergency room. After a bunch of tests, they couldn't figure it out. After a urine test, they said I was pregnant. So they did an internal ultrasound and found I had been bleeding out internally for the last three days. They decided I needed emergency surgery. I told them no because I can't afford any of that. She then told me that if I didn't have the surgery, I would die. What they found was that I had the rarest form of pregnancy. I had a ruptured ectopic molar pregnancy. The egg was fertilized and formed into a tumor that grew and ruptured my fallopian tube, which is why I was bleeding internally.

The bills started building up and we can't afford to pay them. We have a bill for almost $60,000 and the courts are coming after us for the money. We are going to lose our house, which we just bought a year and a half before the surgery, if they start garnishing our paychecks.

Our medical system is completely broken and my mental health is taking a huge toll because of it. I hope and pray that nobody has to go through these challenges. We aren't ones that ask for help as we bust our butts day in and day out to provide, but we are at a loss. This is our last resort and we appreciate any and all help.
