Help for Emergency brain surgery
On August 4th 2020, My brother Christian King was found unconscious at work. He was rushed to the ER and found that he had a ruptured aneurism/brain hemorrhage. They had to do emergency surgery by opening up his skull to relieve pressure and to remove a blood clot, the size of a small mandarin, lodged deep in the left side of his brain. The surgery was thankfully successful. He is currently in a coma and will be in ICU for many weeks. He has a long road to recovery and may never regain some of his main motor functions. Unfortunately, he had the minimum insurance available and it will not nearly cover any of the costs associated with this type of invasive surgery. We are applying for med-iCal in hopes that he will get approved to help cover some of the costs. But this type of surgery can cost up to $150k which my family doesn't have. In addition to these costs, there will be additional costs for Recovery and physical therapy.
I'm asking for donations (any amount is greatly appreciated) to help ease the financial burden on him and my family.
Anyone who knows him knows that he is a good, caring person who is willing to help anyone that needs it. We are now asking for help for him. Even if it's just a few dollars, that will help more than you can imagine. And with your help, along with prayers and hope, he will hopefully pull through this.
Thank you for your support during this difficult and life altering time.
