Emergency medical treatment for Johanna

Right before taking off back to New Zealand I dislocated and broke my jaw in three places and chipped my front teeth, following an accident at gare centrale with an electric scooter.

Since I'm no longer a resident in Belgium and don't have a mutuelle here they want me to pay upfront for my operation. The assistance sociale is not paying and they won't let me be covered via family. The operation for the jaw alone costs 5289€ upfront and needs to be done as soon as possible. They can't do anything about my teeth until after I've been operated. I'm in big trouble and need your help as I can't eat or speak properly anymore. Any donation no matter how small would be enormously appreciated.

Operation is scheduled for Thursday at St. Pierre hospital, if everything goes well I'll be discharged on Friday. Visitors are welcome until 8:30PM. After two weeks I'll have to start recovery treatments (physio, check ups) and hopefully be able to see a dentist for reconstructive treatment, this will add extra costs unfortunately so any donation helps enormously!
