Emergency Medical & Recovery Costs for Ethan

Hi, my name is CC and I'm creating a urgent medical and recovery gofundme for my husband Ethan. Everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Ethan knows what a genuine and beautiful soul he is. Sadly, on our wedding night, exuberant Ethan decided to do a split on the dance floor and his injuries ended up being far worse than we could've ever imagined. He completely tore his hamstring off his pelvis, with two full tears and three grade 2 tears in the surrounding muscles and tendons. If you know Ethan at all, you know that his life's passions revolve around his activity.. drumming, surfing, skating, mountain biking and most importantly HIKING! This injury has been devastating on many levels and his surgery coming up is this Wednesday, followed by 6 weeks in a brace with limited mobility and a full 6-9 months of physical therapy and recovery. Although insurance covers a lot of the procedure, medications, wheelchairs and scooters, biologics such as platelete-rich plasma procedure, etc, are not covered and are all out of pocket. On top of this, Ethan has been out of work for the two months we were in NY getting ready for the wedding and now has to spend another 6 weeks out of work minimum. We aren't expecting much but thought we should at least try to fundraise to see if we can make this load any lighter.

It's a tough way to start off our marriage, but we of course will get through this together and with the love and support from our friends and family along the way. <3
