Emergency Medical and food supplies for Ukraine

Tax deductible

Respected Humanitarian

Tens of thousands of helpless, vulnerable people are fleeing their homes with barely any supplies or belongings to reach the safety of temporary shelters and relief camps. There is an immediate need for emergency medical supplies, basic food and essential supplies to fulfill the needs of these overcrowded centers. This need will continue to grow in the coming weeks and months till peace is fully restored in the country.

We at AarogyaSeva are mobilizing our team of Global Health volunteers to assist with this crisis in many different ways. We are talking to our volunteers on the ground to get a real-time understanding of the needs, establish a trusted network to receive and distribute supplies. We are partnering with other non profits, local Rotary Clubs, International relief agencies to ship essential supplies. Our volunteers are on standby to head out to these relief camps which are serving the displaced communities.

Introduction:

AarogyaSeva: Global Health Volunteer Alliance, is a micro-volunteering non-profit organization registered as a Section 25 not-for-profit company based in Jayanagar, India and a 501(c)3 non-profit in the USA, that provides local, sustainable and comprehensive healthcare to marginalized communities in India, USA, Nepal, Rwanda, Mexico, Haiti and elsewhere for low or no cost. After over ten years working in the non-profit space as a doctor who served patients free of charge, Dr. Kulkarni realized the potential of the methodology he had developed to scale up and engage more stakeholders and serve as many patients as a large hospital within a few years. AarogyaSeva provides a platform for all sectors of the healthcare industry (including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, private practitioners, and healthcare service providers of all specialties) to serve patients in local marginalized communities. Many marginalized communities, due to lack of transportation, lack of government resources, armed conflict and other obstacles are unable to access any healthcare throughout the course of their lives.

AarogyaSeva is bringing healthcare to those who need it most and may otherwise have never had access to healthcare. They have reached over 100000 beneficiaries so far and hope to touch 1 million lives.

AarogyaSeva has tremendous experience providing humanitarian for the last two decades. Starting from the Tsunami of 2004, to the more recent Uttarakhand flood relief where Manya SarsanghChalak Mohanji Bhagawat personally visited our projects and applauded our work. We were deeply involved in the Nepal earthquake relief where we had over 100 doctors performing emergency orthopedic and plastic surgeries in the first week of the earthquake. Chennai floods of 2015, J&K floods, Sri Lankan floods, Haiti earthquake, Ebola crisis to name a few. During the recent Covid response our team helped set up a 50 bed covid hospital in 10 days, distributed over 1500 concentrators, 2500 coventilators, 100000 hot meals and over 250000 sanitary kits and N95 masks.

We have a team of experienced medical and non medical volunteers including myself Dr Dayaprasad Kulkarni, Dr Amit Chakrabarty who is the Founder of ApShiNi foundation, USA and former secretary of AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian origin), Dr Bhaskar Rajkumar who has completely dedicated himself to covid relief work with BBMP and GoK in the last two years, non-medical volunteers like Puneeth T and Naveen M working tirelessly in COVID relief work.
