<div><strong>WHAT HAPPENED</strong>
</div>
<div><em>For two decades, our non-profit charity - that consists of an adoption center and a network of foster homes on Long Island (NY) as well as a 65-acre wildlife preserve and 13,000 SF cat/kitten sanctuary (</em><a href="https://www.li-cat-texas.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>www.li-cat-texas.org</em></a>)<em> in Texas- was supported by donations from hundreds of appreciative cat lovers, but principally from a singular donor (over $100,000 per year) who can no longer support us (he is at end of life). We are in DESPERATE need of additional donors and donations if we are to continue our service - a service recognized by Friskies in their award of "Charity of the Year". </em><strong><em>All donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) charity.</em></strong>

<div><strong>WHO WE ARE</strong>
</div>
<div><em>Our non-profit charity (</em><a href="https://www.li-cat.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>www.li-cat.org</em></a><em>) is dedicated to finding loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. We provide our "residents" with nourishment, medical care and shelter in a nurturing and loving environment. We have placed thousands of adult cats and kittens in loving forever homes over the two decades we have existed - founded by volunteers at other animal charities who were appalled by the animal abuse at other charities and wanted to provide a truly loving and nurturing "halfway home".</em>

<div><em>We have been told that we were pioneers in cage-free caring, providing our residents with an in-home experience (furniture, TV, etc.) and of course love and attention.</em>
