Emergency Housing and Resettlement

After devoting the last 12 yrs of my life to taking care of my mother, I  find myself in dire straits .  I failed to follow the advice passengers on airliner are instructed to follow : put your airmask on before you help someone else. For most of my life I have focused on others welfare before my own and am paying for it now.
When my mother died in December 2016, my household income was reduced  on Jan. 1, 2017 by 55%.  For the last 2 years I've been focused on my mom and her health issues.  Prior to that, I was responsible for my mom and my aunt, being shackled to that house for over almost 2 years  24/7.  I had one wekend off in that time and that was to officiate at a  cousin's wedding.
I've not been able to work out side the home up to this point and $900 per month Social Security Disability does not allow for an extravagant lifestyle anywhere in the US much less in California.
My car is on it's last legs and I can't get it resmogged.....UPDATE : car has died, so currently my only wheels are a bicycle.
My cat Oliver is currently with my cousin, but "my girls" , Molly and Millie are with me.

I desperately need help to re-establish myself and my pets.  ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
