Urgent: Gloria Gallardo, Stroke

On May 27th, I found my mother, Gloria, unresponsive. She was rushed by ambulance to McAllen Medical Center, where it was determined that she had suffered a massive stroke.

It was also determined that the stroke had happened nearly 12 hrs before she was found and valuable time was lost.

Those of you that know my mom, know that she is an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She has always been a very selfless giving person, always putting everyone’s needs above her own. She is the life of the party and the most genuine person I know. She is a faithful Christian woman and we know God will be by her side during this difficult time.

Anything you can provide would go a long way in ensuring her treatment continues as we, her family and many friends pray for her. This is a critical time for her recovery. She needs immediate urgent care through speech, physical, and occupational therapy. My mom is a very strong woman. She is fighting a continued cancer journey and was undergoing iv infusion therapy for a compromised immune system.

All donations will go to paying her medical bills. We know many of you have expressed a desire to help and we understand that this is a difficult time during this pandemic. There is no end to what we can accomplish for the ones we love and believe in. We appreciate your tremendous support and your outpouring of love has been more than we could have imagined.
