Emergency funeral money needed

We are trying to raise money as fast as possible for my husband's best friend's funeral. His wife thought it was taken care of and financial plans fell thru. Can you find it in your hearts to give to this father, grandfather, husband, and great friend so that he can have a proper funeral. Here is a quick story my husband wanted me to share....

On a school bus back in the late 80s.... this punk was staring at me. We had some words.... and decided to become best friends. John Steelman wasn't your typical buddy. Everything was and adventure. John and I did everything together , from getting kicked off the bus together to going to jail together. John was wild and full of piss and viniger. But he was my friend. John and I went separate ways and then met back up some yrs later. We ended up in a bar and I introduced him to the waitress April Shannon Steelman. Little did I know this would change John's live until today. April calmed the storm. John and I again lost touch as kids and family came apon us. But was in touch from time to time.
John hasn't been in good health for a while and April need gas money and had made a Facebook post saying she needed to get to the hospital to see him. At that time in my life I was able to help. And as selfish as it might sound , it made me feel good .
My family and John's family hung out this summer . John and I even got to chill out with no worries and have a few beers. And we all went to the drag strip together. It's like it was all a plan.
John steelman passed away early this morning. There are no stories like the ones John and I have... from him faking a diabetic attack getting me out of a ticket in my 1977 trans am ....only to follow the sheriff to a gas station 5 miles away at over 120 mph to get him candy.... to just taking off on a weekend drive... to playing cards together trying to cheat..
I miss you brother.... a lot.

This man was full of life and just fun to be around we just want to do everything we can to help give him the proper farewell and help his family. Every little bit helps. Thank you. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Anything left in donations after funeral expenses will be divided between his family and a diabetes charity in which we will post proof of if we raise enough money.
