<div>After a few months of relative calm, ICE has once again picked up its operations in New Bedford. During the month of September, they arrested and detained at least 12 community members. They forcibly detained one man who was granted asylum in 2015 and who had applied for a green card, throwing him against the car door and eventually sending him to detention facilities in three different states before finally releasing him.
