What do you do when you see someone drowning?

Saundra and Terrie have started this GoFundMe page for our friend and co-worker Elisha. She is most definitely drowning and she won’t ask for help. We are asking for her.

Elisha was just diagnosed with Uterine and Ovarian Cancer. Surgery is scheduled and chemo is likely to follow.

This is a beautiful 40 year old woman and single mother.

5 children.  1 grandchild.

Her household income recently went from 2 to 1 working adults.

Her running vehicles recently went from 1 to zero.

She has a 13 year old boy with autism and two young twins. Her two older daughters are wonderful and help all they can but there aren’t many other family members to help her.

We are asking you to be her family.

I remember years ago...   one of my many moves during a turbulent time of my life, I finally got a place big enough that my 2 youngest didn't have to share a room anymore. However I was short a mattress... 
She, with the limited money she had surprised me by buying and having a new one shipped to my house!  My daughter slept so much better because of this!  Now, I want to do something to help her sleep a little better.

She works full time, dedicates her life to her children, lives paycheck to paycheck, but is falling behind.

Now she is looking forward to deductibles, upfront amounts, co pays, prescriptions, labs, special diets, transportation, the list goes on and on and on and on.

This is an amazing person that has been listening to the thin ice cracking under her feet all year. Now, cancer has shattered it completely.
