Emergency Fund for a Family and a Baby Escape War

I am Anwar Al-Turk, a Palestinian-Canadian. I created this fundraising campaign in the hope of helping my family in Gaza. I have my cousin, Massara Al-Turk, her husband Ghassan, and their children, Rehab, 6 years old, Reem, 4 years old, and Yamen, who was born in the war in May 2024. This family lives in very difficult circumstances after their displacement several times.Their house was completely destroyed

After being warned to evacuate, this family left their house and moved to their grandfather’s house.

After staying at their grandfather’s house for 3 days, the danger approached them very close, so they left the house to their friend’s house and then to another place until they ended up in the Al-Zawaida area, south of Wadi Gaza, in a tent that does not exceed 9 square meters, of course, in a place that does not have any of the necessities of life.

This family suffers from all the problems of life: no water, no electricity, no hygiene, no clean food, no life that a person can live... they cannot meet the basic needs of their two daughters due to the lack of resources and the insane rise in prices due to the deadly siege, as well as not meeting their infant’s needs for milk, diapers, etc., and the inability to provide a clean, healthy environment for their child.

Since October 2023, they have been living inside a small tent, sleeping on the ground. They live in fear and terror, thinking that at any moment the death shell will fall on them. They live in an environment with their three children full of insects, epidemics, skin diseases, psychological and intestinal diseases, and everything you can think of in terms of pollution. They live from the lack of death, waiting for death. Every moment, I hope that you consider this family as your family and your children and do what is necessary to help them and spread their message as quickly as possible, as the amount is achievable. Here's how your donation will be used for this family:

We are seeking to raise 30,000 Canadian dollars, equivalent to $22,000 US dollars, to ensure the stability and safety of this small family and for their children to live like the children of the world.

An amount of 17,500 US dollars will be allocated to pay for travel arrangements and crossing the border towards Egypt, and this is the amount required for each person:

Rehab $2500

Reem $2500

Yamen $2500

$2,000 will be allocated to rent a small apartment in which to live in safety and stability After the suffering they experienced in the tent and to rebuild their mental health and life.

After deducting the GoFundme fees and transfer fees, the remainder of the donations will be used to cover their expenses, including accommodation and purchasing some of their daily necessities.

Your donation will provide us with immediate relief and give us a new beginning, rebuild this devastated family psychologically, materially, and emotionally, and replant the seeds of life again in their exhausted bodies from the devastating war.
