Emergency fund for Lucky

Hi friends!
I am raising funds to help our friend Lucky through an emergency/crisis situation.
After having to temporarily remove himself from his social work college program due to a PTSD crisis, Lucky has been accepted to an inpatient rehabilitation program which is necessary for him to attend at this point to continue on and heal from trauma. Lucky will be starting this program on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 and will be staying there for a period of four months.
In order to benefit from this program, Lucky needs to be on welfare/social assistance, otherwise the program costs 92$ a night. Lucky filled out all the necessary paperwork (including signed papers from multiple medical & social work professionals stating that he is not in a place to work for the next 11 months), however, welfare is making it extremely difficult to access financial aid and is requesting more and more paperwork to be filled out, which is causing a lot of delays in him receiving the financial assistance he needs.
At this point, we are doing all we can to get Lucky on financial assistance but we are unable to determine how long it'll be until it goes through due to said delays. In order to not lose his spot at the rehabilitation facility, we will need to cover the cost of the nights that he will be staying at the facility before welfare kicks in.

Lucky is a source of so much light for many communities, and he really needs your help right now to be able to heal and continue helping others.
All the money you donate will go directly to paying for :
- inpatient program fees : 92$ x however many days until welfare kicks in (644$ for one week, 1,288$ for two weeks, 1,932$ for three weeks, 2,760$ for a month etc)
- medication : approximately 200$ for four months
- food/necessities until he starts the program : approx 200$
- other life survival costs as they occur (rent, bills, transit, etc)

Please note we are aiming to raise a minimum of 3 weeks of the inpatient treatment costs (+ life survival costs), because at this point we are assuming that is how long welfare will take to come through. In the event that Lucky receives financial assistance faster than that, any extra funds raised will still go directly to Lucky to cover other survival costs.
