Emergency Fund for Houston Family

A wonderful, kind friend of mine and her family have lost their home, car, and nearly all of their posessions in the Harvey floods. Their smart, amazing little girls are making the best of it in a hotel at the moment (see pic), but both parents have been between jobs and health insurance coverage for past couple of months.  Can we help to get them through this rough patch?   They are the most generous people-- when they are back on their feet, they will give back and then some.  But first they have to find and fund temporary housing, furniture, and clothes for themselves and their kiddos.    I know there are so many people and organizations in need right now-- but even just 5 bucks would make such a difference in their immediate future after suffering catastrophic losses.

How the funds will be used:  Housing costs-- hotels and then, eventually, a security deposit on a new place; furniture; a car to replace the one they lost; necessities for the family while they try to get back to work in Houston.
