Emergency fund for families made homeless by fire

On the 28th November 2021, a fire between Nerja and La Herradura, mostly affecting the town of Maro, destroyed the homes and crops of the farmers and their families who live there. Many are subsistence farmers, who have lost their home, income and food for themselves and their families, as well as everything in their homes.

 

Money donated to this fund will go to the families to help them in whatever way they need to survive this horrific event, such as:

As well as families who have lost their homes, the fire destroyed all of the kayak and paddlesurf equipment of the only Kayak club in the area. They lost about 90 kayaks and two zodiac boats. The only kayak club in the area was destroyed, and they don't have fire insurance.
