<div>My name is Muhammad Abdullah Krueng (Tengku Fajri Krueng), <strong>Director of the Acheh Sumatra Indigenous People organization</strong>. I was born and raised in Aceh–Sumatra and now live in the United States, but my heart has never left my homeland.

<div>Today, that homeland is in crisis.

<div>Severe floods and landslides have devastated communities across Acheh. Entire neighborhoods are underwater. Families have been displaced with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Clean water, food, and medicine are urgently needed. Children, elders, and those with chronic illnesses are suffering the most.

<div>Lives have been lost—and many more remain unaccounted for.

<div>I created this GoFundMe because the needs on the ground are far greater than the support currently reaching affected communities. Local volunteers are working tirelessly, but resources are extremely limited and the situation remains life-threatening for thousands and the Indonesian government doesn’t care so much about our people.

<div>Growing up in Acheh, I learned that our strength comes from our ability to stand together in moments of hardship. Today, I feel a deep responsibility to support my community, and I am asking for your partnership in this urgent humanitarian effort.
