Tracing its roots back to 1937, the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum is the largest operating railroad museum in New York State. On June 18, severe rainfall and flash floods damaged our tracks, forcing us to shut down the railroad and cancel the events. It’s visitors like you who help keep the lights on and the trains running. Every day we remain closed means lost income and missed opportunities to share our history. You can help us get our trains back on track by donating to our recovery efforts!
Thanks to generous partners, we can purchase a ton of stone or fill for just $25.00! You can help us fill a whole truck for just $625! A donation in any amount will help fund our repairs as our volunteers work to reopen this fall. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly towards rebuilding the railroad.
Please help us fill those dump trucks so we can reopen the museum and continue to share Rochester's rich railroading heritage for future generations to enjoy!
