<div>I have been batting mental illness since I was 8 years old. I have been diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anorexia (Binge/purge subtype deemed severe) and depression.

<div>I have been fighting an uphill battle against these struggles for years now and have reached out to the services provided by my province for therapy and medication services after years of isolation. Unfortunately these mental health challenges have taken a toll not only on my mind but also on my physical health, including the well-being of my teeth. Repeated exposure to stomach acid has wrought havoc on my mouth, and now the act of eating anything without pain or bleeding has been made impossible. I’m overwhelmed with anxiety as my teeth are deteriorating at alarming rates, and am asking for any support. Any funds exceeding the cost of treatment will be used for medical expenses and further dentistry expenses. The process of fixing what would be my severely eroded teeth would involve extensive crowns, bridgework, root canals and even extractions, all of which would incur a tremendous financial burden.
