Emergency Care for Ziggy the Rescue Kitten

Hello Friends,
Just a couple weeks ago, a tiny tuxedo kitten found his way to us. He had been hiding outside our apartment complex, scared and alone, so we took him in and gave him a safe home. We quickly fell in love with him, his sweet personality, and his little meows.
Yesterday at his first vet visit, they discovered he had a serious urinary blockage. This is a life-threatening condition, especially for male cats, and he had to undergo emergency surgery to have his urinary tract flushed and unblocked.
The vet said that there’s about a 50-50 chance he may need another surgery (a transitional PU procedure) in the near future if this first procedure doesn’t fully resolve the problem. That could raise the total cost closer to $6,000.
We’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover his medical bills. Right now, our goal is to cover the emergency procedure, and if further surgery is needed, we’ll update the fundraiser. Every little bit helps, whether it’s $5 or just sharing this page with others who love animals.
We want to give this little guy the chance at the full, happy life he deserves. Thank you so much for reading, donating, or sharing.
