Emergency bursary fund
Henley Music School was founded around 16 years ago, as a community project to provide all forms of music education to anyone regardless of age, ability, background or means.
The school has grown to such an extent that they now have over 900 children, 100 adults & are in every school in Henley. They offer free lessons to Pupil Premium children, refugees and autism specialist piano lessons. An orchestra for all, heavily subsidised class music lessons in school, after school clubs, workshops & specialist ensemble coaching.
Since Covid, and the cost of living crises, they are struggling to maintain their bursary offering, which comes to over £16,000 a year and rising.
If every person who has benefitted from the fantastic music education HMS offer gave just £10 it would rescue the charity from having to halt all services.
Henley, without Henley Music School would be a very sad place indeed.
However little you can give, it all helps.
