Emergency Aid for Sulawesi

On Sept 28th 2018 an earthquake struck the Minahasa Peninsula, Indonesia of Central Sulawesi. Following the main shock, a tsunami alert was issued for the Makassar Strait, but was called off an hour later. Unfortunately a tsunami struck the area of Palu, which combined with the earthquake and tsunami, led to over 1,500 deaths and thousands more displaced.
The team at Royal Coffee New York Inc. and Royal Coffee, Inc. were saddened to hear of the damage caused by the recent earthquake and tsunami. We've sourced specialty coffee from the region for years and feel very strongly about helping out in a time of need. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for Mercy Corps, who will be providing medical and humanitarian assistance to those affected by the disaster.
