<div><strong>What Happened?</strong>

<div>After contracting COVID-19, Jasmin’s husband has been suffering from long-COVID since June 2021. This has left him temporarily disabled and out of work for months. He has also been experiencing intense stomach cramps and pain, but cannot afford to go to the hospital and is uninsured. Like many immigrant families, Jasmin’s family was left out of various federal relief programs. Jasmin has attempted to support her family but cannot find stable work while supporting her husband and three children of the ages 12, 9, and 2.

<div>The family is now two months behind on their rent and struggling to make ends meet.

<div>RRRN is working with the family to obtain groceries and winter jackets, but there is an immediate need to help cover the costs of rent and upcoming medical bills.

También ha estado sufriendo de problemas estomacales con dolor intenso,  pero no ha podido ir al doctor porque no tiene seguro médico, ni  dinero.  Como muchas familias inmigrantes, la familia de Jasmin no son elegibles para recibir apoyo del gobierno. Jasmin ha estado tratando de cubrir las necesidades de su esposo e hijas de 12, 9, y 2 años de edad ella sola, pero desafortunadamente no es suficiente lo que gana ya que no ha podido encontrar trabajo estable.
