<div>Hello Vivian friends and family. As we all know, Hurricane Helene has struck Western North Carolina in irreparable ways. We're devastated at the destruction of the River Arts District, the neighborhood our restaurant has called home for 7 years, and what our community here and nearby are challenged with. Vivian was insanely lucky not to be flooded, but the weather damage to our roof is extensive. Between our ceiling raining, being out of power, no water systems, no cell or wifi, we are stuck in a state of unknown while we wait to see how and when we can reopen. We've depleted most of our savings to pay our team their last paycheck and cover bills. With no timeline for a reopening, our beloved employees will be left without pay for who knows how long. I am happy to report all our employees are safe, but many are dealing with damaged homes, and most are dealing with lack of power and water, on top of being generally depressed and broken like all of us. If you feel like giving, I will be distributing anything we raise equitably amongst the staff to get them through this disaster. Thanks for your time and consideration.
