Embracing Bereaved Mother Of Dylan Chretien

Donation protected
Brenda Chretien is Dylan Chretiens mother. Brenda raised her only child in Lloydminster, where over the years he made many life long friendships, and never failed to bring his big, contagious smile wherever he went.

Back story
When Dylan came into this world, Brenda risked her very own life delivering Dylan. Requiring her to fight so hard to stay on this Earth to have the chance to raise her baby boy into a wonderful man that he will always be remembered by.
Brenda raised Dylan in Lloydminster, where it was just the two of them forever. Childhood friends recall admiring Dylan for his upmost respect, and love for his mother, he always had a helping hand extended for her if she needed. She was his world, and vice versa. Anyone close to Dylan knows first hand the bond these two shared. For those who dont, if you are a parent, you know that the bond between a parent and child is unbreakable, but the bond between mother and son is extraordinary. Unfortunately, this beautiful story ends in a mother outliving her son. Something NO parent should ever have to do is plan their childs funeral.

Recent stories:

Dylan went missing from Prince Albert, SK and was last seen October.27, 2019. Several weeks went by, close friends came together to try and locate him, and to find any information as to why he was there, or who he even knew there. Several weeks to a mother who's only child is missing I'm sure felt like a lifetime for Brenda.
During this time she travelled back to the home Dylan was residing in, also being their home from Dylans childhood, and where they made countless memories over the years. Being in this space must have been comforting, yet agonizing as well. Brenda endured MANY sleepless nights, and had troubles even stomaching food during these weeks, but those things seemed minor to her, as she placed her number 1 priority to finding her son.

Now we all know that lack of sleep and lack of food takes a huge toll on a persons mind and body, now add a million other things on Brenda's plate, and you have severe overflowing, too much for one person to carry on their own. Alot of Dylans friends, and even strangers stepped up to continuously share his story, and to hopefully aid in bringing Dylan home.

Shortly after an article was released that police had uncovered evidence to suspect foul play. More waiting... and hoping for a miracle.

Wednesday, December. 4, 2019 police came to notify Brenda that a body had been recovered during a ground search in a rural area outside of Prince Albert, although they could not confirm the identity until an autopsy was completed. So...Even more waiting.... The last thing a mother wants is that dreaded call, but how badly she ached for the return of her boy. I couldnt imagine how much her worries, stress, fears, thoughts, and anxiety increased. Sitting and waiting for answers you need is never easy, and especially not easy when it involves your child.

Brenda recieved the news that would change her very existence forever the other day... The remains the police had recovered were those of Dylans.

Someone has so selfishly taken Dylans life, but when they did that, they also took a mother's only son, they took a good friend to many people, they took a young man's life, and cut it far too short; they took a beautiful soul, the brightest smile, and a man who'd give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Everyone has rallied for Dylan, and now we need to do what Dylan can not anymore.. help his mom.

She shouldn't bare all these burdens and stress alone. She has not been able to work during this hard time, and things are starting to build up quickly. Nothing we say or do will ever fix her pain and suffering, but the least we can do is lift the financial stress from her shoulders and make that load a little lighter, shes gonna be carrying this for the rest of her life . I ask you to please donate any amount you see fit, and if you can't financially donate, please share as it may aid in potential donations.

Thank you to everyone who has been following Dylans story, and has helped in any way.
