Embrace Elton

As some of you may know, our friend and coworker Elton Johnson became critically ill approximately 5 weeks ago.  Elton endured a lengthy stay in the ICU, initially due to pneumonia.  Very quickly his condition worsened due to sepsis and the dysfunction of multiple organs needed to sustain life.  After several weeks, Elton was discharged from the hospital.  He still struggles with many deficits that prevent him from returning to work.  He currently requires kidney dialysis three days per week for four hours and has not regained full mobility which has challenged his independence.  Elton is working very hard physically, spiritually and mentally to regain his strength and independence.

Elton is a hardworking husband and father to his family of seven.  He is the primary financial provider for his family.  Prior to becoming ill, Elton was working two jobs to meet his family’s financial obligations.  Due to current medical circumstances he now will be relying solely on his short term disability benefit from his primary employer.  Please consider the impact that this is having on this family financially and emotionally.


Our friend has a long road to recovery ahead.  Please support him and his family with donations and prayer so that his focus can be on rehabilitation and not financial obligation.

Donations will be used to supplement lost wages in addition to transportation, meals and medical cost.
