The Paul Bartlett leukemia Fund

Donation protected
On September 10, 2014, Paul received the shattering news that he had been diagnosed with Leukemia. He was immediately transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He remained inpatient for the next 30 days, where he endured intensive chemotherapy, many blood and platelet transfusions, several bone marrow biopsies and the horrible side of effects of chemotherapy.

Paul and his family are grateful for the positive response he has had to chemotherapy. Paul has shown admirable strength and determination in his fight against cancer thus far. However, due to the type of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Paul will be undergoing a Stem Cell Transplant in January. We are also grateful that Paul’s brother, John, is a donor match.

Paul’s diagnosis of AML and anticipated long term recovery have been emotionally, physically and financially draining. He has been unable to work, leaving him and his family with one less income. Unfortunately, this battle against AML comes with financial challenges in addition to the physical ones. Paul will be faced with a wave of expenses in the midst of an already difficult time. We know that community and family support is critical and we are lucky to have both - but we are asking for your continued help, especially with the mounting medical bills, as we prepare for the next phase of Paul's treatment.

Please know that any funds you give will go directly to Paul's fund to help in this time of need.   Paul is not one to ask for help, he does it on his own. This time I have decided to help out a  friend and I thank you for your generous donation. No gift is too small and every penny counts. Thank you so much for supporting Paul as he strives to "stand fast" in the midst of such a great battle. We are forever grateful for your love, support, and prayers.

"Paul has paid it forward for so many people so many times, it's his turn to get it back"!

I along with pauls  close family thank you so much for your donation.
