Ely's Eye Surgery

Ely, who isn't even eleven months old, was diagnosed on 11/2 with cataracts that will cause him to go blind anywhere from a few days to weeks from now. Yesterday, he started experiencing anisocoria, a severe eye problem that could have led to surgery within a day or two. He won't be going into the operating room today or tomorrow, but we're meeting with a specialist in Chattanooga sometime this week to set a definite surgery date. No matter when his surgery takes place, we still need and welcome your support! I'll keep everyone up to date on him as this progresses, and again, thank you so much. I feel very loved and supported by my community, and I know Ely feels that every day.
