<div>"<strong>ELY</strong>" es un documental independiente que sigue la lucha de activistas, abogados y defensores de los derechos animales que buscan cambiar el destino de esta elefanta y llevarla a un santuario donde pueda vivir libre por primera vez en su vida.

<div>Ely llegó a México hace más de 30 años. Desde entonces, ha vivido encerrada en un espacio reducido, sin contacto con otros de su especie, padeciendo problemas físicos y emocionales severos debido al aislamiento y la falta de cuidados adecuados. Su caso se ha convertido en un emblema de la lucha por los derechos de los animales cautivos en América Latina.

<div>Este documental no sólo da voz a Ely, sino también a las personas que han dedicado años de su vida para conseguir su liberación. A través de su historia, buscamos sensibilizar al público sobre la crueldad del cautiverio animal y la urgente necesidad de replantear nuestra relación con otras especies.
