Hi, my name is Eltayib Hassan and I’m an 18 year old from London, England who is currently residing in the United States. I’ve done a year in prep school in Georgia and managed to pick up a few collegiate offers to play at the next level. Basketball has always been my dream and way of peace since I was 14 years old. All I want to do is play until I no longer can. The reason I’ve began this gofundme is because I have been offered by the Academy Phoenix to train with their NBA level coaches to prepare for the college season. They have been kind enough to allow me to train with them for 3 months at a price of 3000$. However, as good as this price is, my family cannot afford it whatsoever. Unfortunately, I come from a single parent household where my mother has had to fight daily to provide for my siblings and I. This is why I want to give back. I truly believe that with this program, I will be able to develop as a player immensely and get to a point where I can provide for my family by myself. I hope my story resonates with you a little bit because I truly want to help others and any little amount can help me.
