Missions Trip to El Salvador

In April of 2017, I attended the Hillsong Colour Conference in Phoenix, AZ. During this womens conference I was surrounded by strong empowering Christian women from around the world. God really spoke to me and my heart was led to start serving in ways I always wanted to, but wasn't quite sure how. I had a strong pull on my heart to help with children and in orphanages. Three weeks later I was on a work trip to Puerto Vallerta, Mexico where God opened a door for me to help in an orphanage across the street from the airport and 7 minutes from my hotel. I visited the orphanage multiple times during my stay and realized that these kids don't need things but they simply needed to be loved.
Since my visit to the orphanage I have looked for other opportunities to help in local orphanages or during layovers for work. I attended the Hillsong conference in November in LA and knew it was time to give more of myself. I opened my church bulletin that Sunday and a missions trip to El Salvador to work in an orphanage was staring me in the face. I attended the information meeting and knew that this is what God was calling me to do. I didn't have to think about it. I knew then that I would be going on my first missions trip!
On March 17th, 2018, I will be traveling with a small group from Daybreak and My Anthem Church on a week long missions trip where we will be hosting clinic days (medical support), a surf camp, feeding programs, water filter home visits and lots of time at Remar, an orphange that houses 60 kids and is also a Christian school to 200 children. I am super excited for this experience and ready to see the miraculous ways God will work in all of the people we come in contact with as well as in me.
Like all missions trips, it takes money to get these projects done. Please partner with me and Daybreak Church to help change some lives along the coast in El Salvador. All funds raised go straight to the field with none being applied to anything administrative.
