Elora (1.5 y/o) Fight Brain Cancer

A month ago Elora started having difficulties walking, she had recently broken her leg and the doctors were concerned her falling might be Cerebellitis, similar to Vertigo.
A CT scan was ordered to rule out other possibilites, a safety measure. What doctors found was devastating. Elora had grown a tumor in her brain . The tumor was deep in the center of her cerebellum and was blocking the fluid in her brain from draining causing pressure on her brain. The doctors recognized the size and location of the tumor required immediate surgery. The next morning Elora was rushed into a planned 4-6 hour surgery that turned into an 8 hour operation. The tumor was successfully removed, but unfortunately, the lab results identifed the tumor as cancerous.
The doctors were providing a cautious prognosis after surgery, fearing loss of speech, and other potential permanent effects. Thanks to the prayers and skilled doctors, Elora has fared much better than hoped, playing one of her favorite games with mom after surgery. This has been a great miracle in Elora's first step of her long journey.
Next steps are chemo/radiation. This sweet baby has already endured excruciating pain from her surgery, and will most likely need to relearn developmental skills. She is a fighter and is brave like her mom and dad. This wonderful family has a long journey ahead, and with the right treatment will be able to overcome this horrible disease.
The costs for treatment are going to be extremely expensive. For those that know Elora, she is truly the most adorable, sweet, and loveable little munchkin. We as a family want to help Elora in this fight for life, and want to help her dear family not face the overwhelming costs of fighting cancer, which they are feeling presently.
