Elmore SPCA Renovation Fund

After experiencing the wear and tear from animal and human traffic, in addition to the daily sanitizing cleaning protocols, our animal shelter is in need of some TLC.  When we moved back to this facility almost six years ago, many of the product choices were based on affordability, and a limited fundraising window.  This resulted in lower grade products being selected that have not withstood our high use needs. 

Although we have bandaged together repairs, it is now time to replace a number of areas.  We have seven dog runs, now most are unusable.  Dogs have chewed, pushed, pulled, dug and jumped over these fenced in areas.  Low grade fencing needs to be replaced with properly installed with high-grade fencing to keep dogs safe and contained.  Also, some covered areas are needed to provide protection from the harsh elements, allowing them a greater amount of outdoor play and freedom from kennels. 

Inside our shelter, the linoleum floor is cracking and peeling away, and is in need of full replacement.  Baseboard heating elements are rusting, and moldings and walls need paint.

 As we move forward with these repairs we need you to Help Us…Help Them to have a safe and health stay while in our care at Elmore SPCA.
