Elmer Stene Cancer Treatment Fund

Our friend and IESR family member Elmer Stene, age 39, has been diagnosed with Stage 3C Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. The cancer originated in his lungs and has spread to places throughout his body. He is starting localized radiation therapy and 2 separate chemo treatments to hopefully put this spreading cancer into remission. Elmer will spend a minimum of 8 weeks away from his family and home in El Paso, TX to receive treatment at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Goodyear, AZ. His travel/hotel expenses are out of pocket and he is expected to have multiple return trips over the next few months.

Elmer is a great father/husband of 2 beautiful children, Breanna 14 and Bryland 11, and wife of 18 years, Suzanne. He's also a supervisor out of the El Paso Cable Division and has been with IES  since 2012. He is a fun-loving, genuine, hardworking man that’s always taken joy in helping others and has an amazing way of turning any type of situation into a positive one. Now he needs our help!
