Ellipses (Phil) Nguyen

Ellipses (Phil) Nguyen passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2022, with family by his side at Lankenau Hospital in Pennsylvania. Our hearts are filled with overwhelming sadness. We still wish to wake up from this unbelievable nightmare. 

Phil served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as an electrical engineer and was proud of his career.
Phil liked listening to ballads played on the guitar or ukulele, and found that playing his guitar was a source of relaxation. He enjoyed watching programs on how to make home improvements and learning how to fix appliances.
Phil also loved being on the beach in the sun anywhere and enjoyed taking cruises on ships traveling to different places, especially to St. Thomas in the Caribbean. His favorite time was time spent with his family at home whom he loved above all. 

He was a selfless, kind hearted human being who was determined and resilient in all his life’s ambitions. 

Phil was the beloved husband of Ratsamay C. (nee Chanthakhovnsy); the loving father of Justin Nguyen and Jasmine Nguyen; and the dear brother of Kathie Nguyen. He is also survived by his parents, Phan Van and Trong Kim Nguyen.

 

In lieu of flowers, Phil’s family has requested monetary donations to help with funeral costs, medical bills, as well as short term living expenses as his wife, May, takes some time to adjust before going back to work to support their 2 children (Justin, 13 and Jasmine, 11).
