Elliott's House Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
First the good news.

The Elliott's (Raymond "Matt", Krystle, Addy and Asher) were all fortunate enough to escape to safety when their house caught fire this morning.  The house is structurally sound and can be rebuilt.  They also have insurance which will ultimately allow then to bounce back from this. The bad news is that doing so will likely take 6 months or so and they will be displaced to temporary housing at a time when the rest of us are lucky enough to be "confined" to our own homes.

Our hope is that insurance will eventually make them whole financially. We also recognize though, that making ends meet in the interim would be tricky for anyone.  And that is why this fund was started.

It's been said that EVERY situation, no matter how traumatic, is the "perfect opportunity to....."

To me, this tragic fire is the perfect opportunity to show the Elliott's how much they are loved.  Meal trains, clothing donations and the like are already forthcoming and it is our hope that the generous donations made on this page will allow the Elliott's to rest a little easier knowing that they won't run out of money in the coming days and weeks as they deal with this unexpected setback.

Please donate if you can!

And also send your thoughts, love and prayers to them during this tumultuous time!
