Surgery for Elliot Nystrom Rogers

Elliot Uriah Nystrom Rogers, born January 7, 2016, already faces his first major hurdle with the diagnosis of Sagittal Craniosynotosis-- the premature fusion of the bones at the top of the head. Untreated, this condition will lead to a malformed skull that could impair brain development and sense perception. The window for corrective surgery is only a few months wide. Surgery has been scheduled for March 16; however hospital bills are already arriving, and the only insurance that will cover the procedure runs steep.
