Our friend Elle is a neurodivergent trans woman providing live-in care to her mother in southern California, and she can't afford the surgeries that she needs to feel at ease in her own body

We've put together this campaign as a birthday gift - Elle does so much work to help others, and has improved our lives immensely. We're hoping that together, we can pay her back a fraction of the amount she's done for others

Elle runs a mid-sized discord community and spends a lot of her free time living her leftist ideals by helping queer people improve their lives and educating people about gender and politics. She's knowledgeable and has helped many people access hormone replacement therapy as well as other treatments and resources that they needed, and has a very limited income, relying heavily on disability payments

She's helped herself wherever she can, too, but she's spent several years on HRT and hasn't had the results she hoped for. She has intense dysphoria about her chest and face, and if she had the money she'd address the features that make her feel most uncomfortable. She's identified that a breast augmentation would be the most affordable effective option, and has been able to put a little money aside, but far from the amount she needs

If we don't make our goal, Elle will still receive the money, and save it for a time when she can afford a surgery

If we exceed our goal, she'll be able to put the excess towards other surgery that could help her even more, like facial feminization surgery or excess skin removal
