Ellen (Ziese) Funk Funeral Expenses

My sister-in-law Ellen (Ziese) Funk has stage 4 lung cancer, which has spread to several tumors along her spine and in her brain. She initially went to the doctor for pain in her hip and for having trouble standing/walking. Never did she, or her husband Matt, expect to hear that she has stage 4 cancer all over her body. This was just a few weeks ago and life has been a whirlwind ever since.

Unfortunately, Ellen doesn't have life insurance or health insurance. Matt only gets paid when he's able to work, which has also been limited given the circumstances. Matt is a humble and proud man and believes in taking care of his own financial needs, so it's not easy for him to let me ask the community for help. He will likely be paying on the medial bills the rest of his life, but this funeral and burial cost is a big hit that he simply cannot absorb on his own and still make his mortgage and other living expenses.
